Removing MiKTeX

You can remove MiKTeX completely from your system. To do so, open a Terminal window and run these commands:

run miktexsetup cleanup to remove MiKTeX files which have been created in your home directory
if MiKTeX has been installed system-wide, run sudo miktexsetup --shared=yes cleanup to remove MiKTeX files which have been created outside your home directory
run sudo rm -fr /Applications/MiKTeX Console.app to remove the application files
